Waffle - Eggless

Always wanted to make this dish since I bought my Morphy Richard sandwich maker in Chennai, I got a waffle plate also with it but I always used to think it would very difficult thing.
Then once I went to Besant Nagar beach with friends, there we ate waffle, he made it fresh in-front of our eyes and that was the time when I finally decided I wanted to try this thing. But I din't knew my first attempt would be this good.

What Waffle/Pancake is?

Waffle batter is very similar to that of pancakes cooked between two plates of a waffle maker similar to making a sandwich. It is made crispier than pancakes.
To put it up in easy words, pancake is sweeter version of Cheela(Besan Cheela or Dal Cheela etc.) which we make in India with ingredients similar to that of cake. It is made from a starch based batter and may contain milk, eggs, butter, and then cooked on a hot pan.

Inspiration

Hi guys,
I am Vanika Kapoor born and brought up in Kanpur. Computer Science Engineer by profession. I like to try new things, visit new places, shop and eat different things.
Everyone likes what I cook and after that ask me for tips or to take cooking classes.
The secret ingredient for all my recipes is love. Any basic dish also if you make with love and passion will be awesome. That's why mom's food is best food in the world!!!
People around me keep on telling that I have chosen a wrong profession, I should open a Restaurant or Cafe. Can't say about it, lets see what the future has for me.

My Inspiration :

My parents are my biggest inspiration, whatever I am today is all because of  them. The secret magic for all my recipes is taught by my mother and grandmother. My mother will cook each and everything with so much love, passion and patience. How much good things I make, but she is the best. I still remember childhood days when my Nani used to sit on stool to cook food for me and they used be just marvelous .
Last but not the least my father - he is the biggest reason for me to search perfection in each and everything I do. No matter how much everyone likes what I do, he will always have an idea on how to improve it. So, to get clean chit from him is a very big task. I still very well remember when I started driving although Government of India gave me the driving license but to get a Green flag from him was such a big task.
But whatever I do, they are always proud of me and I will always be their princess :).

Neither I am professional cook nor I am a very good writer, I started this blog just to try this a new thing, let's see how much it excites my senses. Mostly, I guess I would be writing about food and travelling or maybe I try out something different which I like a lot.

In the end I would like to thank all my friends and cousins who encouraged me so much to start blogging.
